This year’s Foil the Flu campaign utilizes resources from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the NIH communications teams to spread the word on how to prevent the spread of flu, the status of the disease across the country, and what to do if you do become infected. Place a tool on your personal Web site, or listen to the podcast and read the newsletter articles on NIH’s efforts to protect patients, staff, and visitors from influenza.
CDC Widgets
Widgets are online applications built by one Web site that can be displayed onto another Web site. You can embed content in personalized home pages, blogs, and other sites. Once you've added the widget, there's no technical maintenance. CDC.gov will update the content automatically. Adding a CDC.gov widget to your page means that you will have up-to-date, credible health and safety content in your favorite spaces—no more searching or browsing!
CDC Buttons
Buttons are graphic links to an outside site. Let your Web site visitors know how to stop the spread of H1N1 Flu (swine flu), by directing them to www.flu.gov.
CDC E-cards
Send your family, friends, and co-workers a CDC E-card reminder to prevent the spread of influenza.
